Art in the Woods is held on the grounds of the Huntington Woods Lutheran Church (on 11 Mile, between Coolidge & Woodward). Directions: 1-696 to Coolidge exit. North on Coolidge, right onto 11 Mile. 2 blocks, on south side of 11 Mile. The Detroit Institute of Arts Close to Huntington Woods you will find one of the largest collections of art in the county. The DIA is over 600,000 sq. ft. and has roughly 100 galleries to offer. It houses an art reference library, 1 380- seat lecture/ recital hall and state of the art Conservation Service Laboratory. When visiting the DIA you will find American, European, Modern and Contemporary art.
